IDOLiSH7 has been a big part of my teenage years ever since I was 13, and honestly it's crazy to see how far the series has come. I remember little me sitting on the floor of my room, grinding out the rhythm game like crazy and loving the story of idols trying their best to achieve their goals. While my passion isn't as strong as before, the love I hold for this series is immeasurable. Having IDOLiSH7 grow up with me along the way is something I will always cherish and never forget. This project to me serves as a appreciation letter towards a series I've found so much comfort in, and I'm grateful to work with people who have also found some sort of community within this series. Cheers to another year and happy anniversary!

Where do I even begin when it comes to this series? I came across i7 in 2018 because Tsubasa Yonaga was my first seiyuu oshi, and I was in love with his singing in Free!'s theme & character songs, so I went on a search for his idol roles. Little did I know not only Mitsuki would've been my oshi even 8 years later, but that we also share birthdays! I'm really, REALLY honored to have been able to celebrate with him for eight whole years :) I look up to him lots and words cannot describe the happiness he brings me by even just existing without speaking a word!!!Ever since getting into i7, it's been a constant in my life and my love for this series could only massively grow over time: as of recent years, it helped me get close to many of my current friends, it made me bond with my bestest friend and it's just helped me regain my spark during times where I thought there was no way out for me.My oshi may be Mikki, but I chose to cast myself as Tamaki in this collab because there's no other character in the whole world who I feel seen in the way I do when it comes to him ♡ when I was still a kid, I used to dislike him for a while because I just couldn't stand how similar we were – I wish I could go back in time and tell my old self I still see myself in him to this day! However I must say Riku is also often very relatable to me, starting from the fact that since I got into i7 he motivated me to take on multiple hobbies, the first being dancing, despite dealing with chronic asthma. I don't dance as much as I used to before anymore, but even so, his determination shines within me every time I sing. When I say he really is just as inspiring as the other characters claim him to be in canon, I'm not kidding.Lastly, I feel obligated to shoutout my ŹOOĻ goats, who I only learnt to love and appreciate as they are as of recently, but who barged into my life and my brain altogether at the perfect moment for me to feel their character arcs, both individually (some more, some less) and as a group, on a very personal level. And speaking of ŹOOĻ, I feel like I can’t bring them up without also mentioning my close friendgroup who I tend to associate to them a lot and who all watched i7 with me after my endless rambling about it :) I’ve been having the best time ever since getting closer to them and, once again, it happened because of the one series I love the most!I've only been reaching some of my longtime goals in the past year and a half, and i7 has grown for me from a safe space to hide in when things got rough (which was more often than not my routine) to a big factor contributing to my joy ♡♡♡After writing this huge paragraph (sorry...! I tend to get really sentimental about my interests, let alone i7) I can't but think about one of the most important songs to me from it, Dear Butterfly, and how it's been written with the intention to celebrate the love for all the things you like, especially the concept of getting to love something even more because you've gone through painful experiences before. It simply conveys all I feel for this series, as well as my overall mindset on life ♡Happy anniversary! Here's to many more years together ☆

HAPPY 11th ANNIVERSARY AINANA!!
Tbh, I’m still pretty new to the fandom, despite watching the anime multiple times over the past six years (shame on me I know 💀). But I have to say, it’s such an amazing project that has given me so many memories, laughter, and tears. (Y’all don’t know how often my sister and I joke around sasagero every day HAHAHA. The recent remix version is insanely funny LMFAO we play it out loud and make fun of it every time we’re in the car)
I can still remember my young and naive middle school self getting absolutely destroyed by the crazily hurtful plot during my first watch. I crashed out so many times throughout, esp during every Nanase sibling-related scene. Even though I always joke about having a love-hate complex towards Tenn, both of them hold such a special place in my heart. (cried for 20 minutes straight while reading Part 6 😭 Incomplete Ruler killed me so badly)Shoutout to my primary + middle school bestie who tried her very best to introduce me to ainana. I’m so glad I actually took her recommendation seriously and gave it a chance. It has some of the most precious and lovely characters and bonds ever (well, let’s not include old Kujo and Tsukumo here LOL), along with so many peak songs. Congrats to Secret Night and MEDiUM for officially entering the family playlist btw.Again, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! I’m super honoured to be a part of this as a vocalist and to be working alongside so many amazing and passionate fans!! Also just realized I didn’t have the chance to mention but YAOTOME GAKU MY LOVE.

To start off with, IDOLiSH7 got me through a very tough year and difficult relationship, and if it weren't for the series I don't think I would be alive today. It also brought me closer to one of my best friends in the Youtaite community and I'm really thankful for that. Since getting into i7 I have seen myself in Yuki, I don't see myself (personality and mentality) represented in a lot of characters and getting to know him over the course of the series made me really happy :) he and Momo are really special to me and i7 is still important to me to this day (my partner and I compare ourselves to Re:vale a lot LOL). I also want to give a big shoutout to Tenn and Iori who are my other favourites aside from Re:vale

Okay so let me preface this by saying I was a total i7 LARPER for like. A year. legit just knew it as that thing my friends liked but became kind of a fan via proximity. I was shouting EGG IN CUP randomly. To people who do not know who Touma is, I am sorry.Well, said friends actually convinced me to engage with the media and OHHHH MY GODDD. crack cocaine. First few episodes, literally fell to my knees multiple times. Riku my GOAT, it was lowkey devastating how seen I felt by some random anime idol boy. I think I actually wrote like a 6 paragraph essay on how emo he made me. I'm not that far in the anime but his disability rep is extremely good since I have the same thing, so I found him so relatable. While I don't engage with the media as much as other fans, the music bangs and the anime destroys and rebuilds me all at the same time. When I saw this project hit the CBC server I RAN bro. Anyways I can really see why the fans are so passionate about it and I think that's pretty cool to see :]

To be honest, I don't know that much about Idolish7, but I'm slowly getting into it. I already love music and characters and I genuinely enjoy singing those songs. So when I saw this project, I of course really wanted to join, and I was met with so much warmth and comfort. All the members were sooooo sweet! I think everything about this project will remain in my memories forever, and I will be telling my grandkids stories about Gaku and STARDOM GENiUS cover 👵
